National Smile Month 2010 | May 16th - June 16th

National Smile Month is run by the UK's leading independent oral health charity, the British Dental Health Foundation. Dedicated to improving the public's oral health, this year's campaign of 'Teeth4Life' highlights the importance of looking after your teeth and maintaining them for life.

During 2009's National Smile Month, the UK coverage of our campaign exceeded 500 media articles, reaching a total circulation of approaching 40,000,000 British readers and viewers.

This included a range of high-profile consumer magazines and leading daily national tabloid and broadsheet papers.

This year's campaign slogan, 'Teeth For Life', highlights the importance of looking after your teeth and maintaining them for life, also stressing that a healthy diet can improve the quality of your life.

Once again, our message is also intended to raise awareness of the systemic link between good oral health and good overall body health.

The Foundation is dedicated to supporting the dental profession. And with your dentists help, teeth can stay healthy.... if you care for them properly. Remember... teeth are for life!
